Do you make any of the beads? heart beads 2.jpg I've tried making beads and discovered that I'm not temperamentally suited to that activity.  I'm more of a hunter-gatherer - I like to go on bead "safaris" or scouting missions to find uncommon materials.
Where do you get your beads? Img30.jpg Please click here to find out!
Do you sell any of your beads? ghana glass beads 72 dpi.jpg Yes - when the mood strikes!  I currently have some loose beads and some boxed bead mixes for sale at my studio.
How did you learn to make jewelry? Img23.jpg I'm self-taught; I also do all my own graphic deisgn.  I try to continually develop my eye and aesthetic sensibility through traveling, photography and other creative pursuits.
How long have you been a Beadist? drum beads 72 di.jpg Since the fall of 2001.  My, time flies!
Is your jewelry in any stores besides your own? multi flower 72 dpi.jpg I've been approached by gallery owners but I prefer to keep the collection together and sell it myself.  Getting to know my customers and seeing them respond to my creations gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
How long does it take you to make a piece of jewelry? carved gemstone bracelet - thailand.jpg Sometimes years! Some of my necklaces only come into being once I've gathered all of the right materials.  I spend many hours looking for unique beads, collecting them and experimenting with designs.  Assembling a piece may take a few minutes or much longer.
I lost an earring that I purchased from you; can you replace it? alkmaar earrings 72 dpi.jpg Bring or send me the surviving earring and I'll see if I can make a match.  If so, the replacement cost will be half of what you originally paid for the pair.  This service is only available for regularly priced earrings.
What happens if one of your bracelets or necklaces breaks? blue greens stained glass 72 dpi.jpg I construct my jewelry to withstand all but the most strenuous adventures.  Still, on rare occasions something snaps.  If so, please bring or send me the piece and I will repair it (no charge w/in 6 months of purchase); if I no longer have those beads I will try to replicate the design.
